A vintage brass goblet in the shape of a brandy snifter: a round, generous bowl that curves gently inwards at the rim, set on a short stem and a round stepped foot. The bowl is hand-engraved with sprays of leaves and open flowers, with a band of smaller leaf motifs towards the base. The brass is warm and bright, with soft traces of age settled into the engraved lines.
Hand-poured in South London using our soy, coconut and rapeseed wax blend, it's scented with Vintage Bookshop: soft citrus and ginger over cedarwood, leather and sandalwood, settling into amber, patchouli and musk. A good choice for a reading corner or a long winter evening. Every scent we pour is described in our fragrance guide.

We have two of these snifters, closely matched, so they make a handsome pair on a shelf or mantelpiece. As vintage pieces, each may show small differences in tone and engraving. Once the candle is finished, wash the goblet out with warm soapy water and use it for a small posy of dried flowers or as a pot for matches.
Please place on a heat-resistant surface, as the brass becomes hot while the candle is burning.
