A small vintage brass pot with a rounded belly, a gently waisted neck and a wide, flat rim, standing on a sturdy stepped foot. It's hand-engraved in the classic style of Indian brassware, with feathery leaf sprays and open flowers around the body and smaller sprigs scattered across the shoulder and base. The brass has a warm, mellow shine with soft signs of age.

Hand-poured in South London using our soy, coconut and rapeseed wax blend, it's scented with Vintage Bookshop: soft citrus and ginger over cedarwood, leather and sandalwood, settling into amber, patchouli and musk. See the full notes for every scent in our fragrance guide.

We have two of these pots, closely matched, so they sit nicely as a pair on a bedside table or bookshelf. As vintage pieces, each may show small marks and slight differences in the engraving. Once the candle is finished, wash the pot out with warm soapy water and use it for a small succulent, hair ties or loose change.

Please place on a heat-resistant surface, as the brass becomes hot while the candle is burning.
