A small gnome with a tall hat and a full, softly ribbed beard, made from a single mould in three ways: a natural wax candle, a raw concrete ornament, or one of each as a set. Each stands 9cm tall on a 5cm base, about the height of a standard mug, so it sits neatly on a shelf, desk or windowsill.

Natural wax candle
Hand poured in England in natural vegan wax and left unscented, with the wick set at the tip of the hat. This is a mini candle, made for occasional short burns rather than long evenings, and the gnome shortens as it burns, beginning with the hat.

Concrete ornament
Cast by hand and left completely raw, in natural concrete grey with no paint, sealant or finish, to match our concrete candle vessels. It weighs approximately 160 grams, a solid weight for its size. Concrete is a natural material, so colour and surface texture vary slightly from one gnome to the next.

A small, thoughtful gift for a birthday, housewarming or thank you. As with every Ralph's Orchard order, a tree is planted and ocean plastic is removed.

Candle safety

Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Burn on a heatproof dish or holder, on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface. Wax will run down the sides as it burns.
Keep away from draughts, curtains and anything flammable, and out of reach of children and pets.
Trim the wick to 5mm before each use.
Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Keep burning candles at least 10cm apart.
Do not move the candle while it is burning or the wax is liquid.
Extinguish with a snuffer and stop using the candle when 1cm of wax remains.
