A tall vintage brass tankard with a scrolled handle and a hand-engraved garland of flowers, leaves and buds wrapped around an empty oval panel on the front. The body swells gently towards a stepped foot, and the brass has mellowed to a soft, uneven patina: bright on the high points, deeper and darker towards the base.

Hand-poured in South London using our soy, coconut and rapeseed wax blend, it's scented with Spiced Orange, a warm blend of orange, clove, nutmeg and cinnamon. It's a generous candle for the colder months, and a handsome mug to keep once the wax is gone. You can read about every scent we pour in our fragrance guide.

There is only one of these, and once it's gone we can't restock it. The tankard carries the small marks and variations of its past life, which is part of its character. When the candle is finished, wash it out with warm soapy water and use it for pens, brushes or a few dried stems.
