She was inspired by the Isen-isen, tiny motifs featured on batik designs, that serves to fill and complete the main ornaments in the batik. The names of isen-isen are usually according to their shape and some also have their own meaning. 

This particular design combines of 2 Isen-isen motifs, Ada is a shape of semi circle, also means first; do something no one has ever done; The other motif, Cecek, just a simple form of dots design.  Our maker recreates these designs using reclaimed wood and hand paints each of the motifs to enhance the beauty of the design.
